Whilst being specialists in the competitive side of cycling, We also cater for the Tri market, the entry-level cyclist, Mountain bikers and have a great range of Womens specific clothing.

Scott Guyton - Owner/Operator Scott is a double Olympian (Sydney 2000, Alanta 1996) and Commonwealth Games Representative (Kular Lumpar 1998). Represented NZ just having turned 19 in Alanta. Raced in European Pro Teams from 1997 to 2004. Won NZ's most prestigious tour - Tour of Southland twice 1998 and 2003 and placed in the top three on other occasions. Scott has coached Westlake Boys Highschool cycling team, and Takapuna cycling team. scott@kiwivelo.co.nz
Vanessa Guyton - Owner/Operator Represented NZ at World Championship level as a junior and senior. Won numerous national titles as a junior (U19) rider. Represented NZ at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester. Is a qualified Sport Scientist and a Nutritionist having completed a BSc with a double major in Sports and Exercise Science as well as Human Nutrition in 2005. Ashley Field - Operations Manager Ashley (Ash) is a keen cyclist, Ash runs the technical side to Kiwivelo which includes the shop and website. He manages the website, networking, design, marketing, and any other I.T related issues. Ash has a background in graphic design and is currently studying web development. ash@kiwivelo.co.nz
Sam Horn - Sales
Sam would often be seen on his MTB jumping or competing as a junior. In his early 20’s, he made the transition from single track to tarmac spending 4 seasons racing overseas before settling down in Auckland. He is open to new cycling adventures, enjoys listening to others and is always looking to enhance their experience on the bike.

Lance Maitland - Sales Lance has been at the shop for a long time, he is a very friendly guy and likes to help out where possible, for example taking you for a training ride. Lance has been riding his bike for many many years and has a lot of knowledge to give to begining cyclists. Lance is also invloved with web orders. lance@kiwivelo.co.nz
Matt Markby - Sales & Wholesale Matt has come to Kiwivelo from the wholesale trade and has plenty of industry experience. Although time is hard to come by, he still enjoys a good commute and the odd bike race.  matt@kiwivelo.co.nz

Jiri Pilik - Workshop
Originally from the Czech Republic, Jiri reached the highest league of competition in ice hockey and used cycling as a form of cross training. Amateur races played a large part in preparation for the hockey season and soon became an important part of his life. Jiri first came to the bicycle industry in 2006 and has occupied a variety of positions in the retail space. Nowadays, Jiri is particularly focused on premium bike service and custom shop builds at the Kiwivelo Workshop. If You need any advice, help or consultation about your bicycle, he is the man to ask for.
